The day before the Istanbul Convention was finally ratified an event was held in front of Croatian Parliament in memory of all women brutally murdered by partners,  husbands and other family members in the last 5 years, from the signing until the ratification of the Convention.

While at the same time in Split on 18th of April, 2018 protesting took place against the Istanbul Convention, activists together with Domina’s association, placed 100 lanterns in memory of murdered women and launched them into the sea, once again alerting people the to the importance of the Istanbul Convention to prevent and combat violence against women.
