Center for Education, Counseling and Research (CESI) and Libela.org are conducting a one-day training “I write – equality!” about institutions involved in promoting gender equality in the European Union and on the construction of gender in the media.
Education is intended for interested students of journalism and students who are engaged in journalism (25). Those students will hopefully apply the knowledge and experience, based on the education, in practice by writing papers on a given topic then published on the website on gender, sex and democracy Libela.org. After completing the first part of training, a second meeting will be organized and scheduled for late November.
The educators will be M.Sc. Dario Čepo, the author of “Political institutions of the European Union”, M.Sc. Josip Šipić, a subcontractor at the Faculty of Political Science, Ela Naranđa, assistant at the Center for Peace Studies, intern in the European Parliament and Svjetlana Knežević and Ana Brakus, editors of the web portal Libela.org.
One-day training will be held on the 18th of October 2014 from 10 am to 5 pm in the premises of the Green Action, civil society organization (Frankopanska 1, Zagreb).
