Association Brod – women’s human rights group from Slavonski Brod is organizing a public action on the 22nd of September 2014 for the National Day of Elimination of Violence against Women. The public action will take place at the city Corso (in front of the store Vesna) in Slavonski Brod from 11 am to 2 pm.
At the public action promotional materials will be distributed and citizens will be familiarized with the issue of domestic violence and the work of the Association Brod – women’s human rights group.
The public action is a crucial part of the project “Education to knowledge – cooperation to change!” and this way the citizens will also learn about the project. The project is implemented by Women’s Room – Center for Sexual Rights and Center for Women Adela (Sisak), Association Brod – Women’s Human Rights Group (Slavonski Brod), Women’s Association “HERA” (Križevci) and SOS phone – City of Rijeka. It is financially supported by the National Foundation of Civil Society Development.
