Psychologist of the Women’s Room – Sexual Rights Center in cooperation with police officers in the community, held lectures for parents on April 24, 2018 in Primary School Dr Vinko Žganac and on May 2, 2018 in Primary School Matko Laginja.

The lectures lasted 60 minutes and covered topics such as recognition and prevention of electronic violence, with a focus on sexual violence.

The purpose of the lectures was to introduce parents to the current issues in area of sexual violence that take place through the Internet and social networks. This also, included the Red Button electronic violence reporting program.

Lectures were held as part of the project “Stop Violence and Hate speech on the Internet” conducted by Women’s Room – The Sexual Right Center in partnership with the Primary School  Dr Vinko Žganac, Zagreb and the Primary School Matko Laginja, Zagreb. Project is financially supported by the National Foundation for Civil Society Development.
