Psychologist of the Women’s Room – Sexual Rights Center held lectures for professors and associates at partner schools on 26 April 2018 in the Primary School Matko Laginja and on May 3, 2018 in Primary School Dr Vinko Žganac.
62 professors and professional associates participated in the lectures, which covered topics such as recognition and prevention of electronic violence, with focus on sexual violence.
The purpose of the lectures was to familiarize people with the issues of sexual violence on the Internet. Issues such as, distribution, risk factors, contact for assistance and support, and to recognition and observation by professionals in educational institutions.
Lectures were held as part of the project “Stop Violence and Hate speech on the Internet” conducted by Women’s Room – the Sexual Right Center in partnership with the Primary School Dr Vinko Žganac, Zagreb and the Primary School Matko Laginja, Zagreb. Project is financially supported by the National Foundation for Civil Society Development.
