New lecture in the “Prajdionica” series, which is a series of introductory courses organized by Zagreb Pride Organization, will be held on Sunday, 13 April 2014, at 7 p.m. in culture club MAMA (18 Preradovićeva Street, Zagreb). Ari Kajtezović and Noa Pintarić will hold lecture titled “Sex, Gender, Trans” from TransAid Organization.
The lecture will cover the difference between sex and gender, the grounds on which we draw conclusions about someone’s sex, gender or sexual orientation, as well as gender expression. Participants will also learn the difference between the terms transgender and transsexual, trans and trans*. Information will be provided about Croatian legislation, and why it is important for the society that the linguistic gender is in accordance with the assigned sex/gender.
